Job Description

The hourly pay range is $17-$22 per hour guaranteed, plus $28-$40 flat rate based on experience.

This role involves driving sales and guest count growth.

We are looking for a professional technician eager to help grow the shop. Must be detail-oriented, capable of coaching entry-level techs, and possess your own tools. A valid driver’s license is required. We seek a team leader and team player.

The Technician role is full-time or part-time, hourly, based on business needs. Responsibilities include vehicle diagnostics, routine repairs, and maintenance, delivering exceptional 5-star guest service through effective communication and meeting time and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify required repairs.
• Complete Monro’s Courtesy Inspection on every guest vehicle, documenting and communicating additional services; audit courtesy inspections by general service techs.
• Assist with inventory management, including pulling tires and parts.
• Maintain store cleanliness and readiness.
• Perform services safely, adhering to safety standards and procedures.
• Test drive vehicles per policy, following safety laws.
• Follow company policies, governmental standards, and safety protocols.
• Maintain technical knowledge through training modules.
• Operate and maintain equipment safely.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Automotive training or experience.
• ASE certification and State Inspection license preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory MVR.
• Own basic tools or participate in our tool purchase program.
