Job summary

Beechmont Automotive Group in Cincinnati is seeking an Automotive Technician with prior repair experience to join our busy service department. We offer factory training to become brand familiar, if needed, and a clear career path for advancement.

You will diagnose and repair vehicles across various systems, documenting all work and communicating clearly with service advisors. Our air‑conditioned shop, friendly hours, and strong team support create a rewarding work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of an accredited automotive technology program is preferred.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of automotive technician experience in a dealership or independent shop.
• ASE certifications or manufacturer-specific training are strongly preferred.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Experience with diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics and complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability repairs.
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify maintenance needs and potential safety issues.
• Complete repairs and services per manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
• Communicate effectively with service advisors to explain diagnoses, recommend repairs, and estimate completion times.
• Document all work performed using the dealership's repair order system.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Stay current with latest automotive technologies and participate in training and certification programs.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment with proficiency.
• Assist in mentoring and supporting less experienced technicians as needed.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm proper operation and quality repairs.

• Monday to Friday 8 AM-5 PM
