Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service Center, part of Sun Auto Network, is seeking an Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles in accordance with MAP guidelines and dealer/manufacturer standards.

Pay ranges from $20 to $35 per hour total compensation, including base pay and additional earnings through a flag/flat-rate system. Benefits include insurance, paid time off, tuition reimbursement, and 401(k) matching. Opportunities for advancement available.

Automotive Technician is responsible for effectively and efficiently diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles while adhering to the MAP guidelines and in accordance with dealership, manufacturers, and CheckPointTire & Service Center Automotive standards.

Pay Range: $20–$35 per hour in total compensation, which includes an hourly base plus additional earnings through a flag/flat-rate system.

Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The Automotive Technician will be exposed to moderate to loud noises, dust, exhaust fumes, lubricants, petroleum products, vapors, caustic materials, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. The temperature in the work environment varies and could include extreme heat and/or extreme cold depending on the ambient temperatures outside. The use of safety goggles or other PPE may be required when working in these conditions.
