Job summary

Pete's Auto Service in Charlotte, North Carolina is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As a pivotal member of our family-operated business, you will be responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and overhauling vehicles.

Preferred candidates will have at least 5 years of experience, ASE certification, and a strong mechanical aptitude. We emphasize quality workmanship and provide a nationwide warranty on all services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with ASE Certifications required.
• Valid Drivers Licence with a clean DMV record.
• Experience as a Technician B-Level or above.

Job Description

We are currently seeking an Automotive Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will diagnose, adjust, repair, and overhaul automotive vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and services
• Inspect and test drive vehicle to determine customer concern and solution

Qualifications

• ASE Certifications (minimum 5 years of experience)
• Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Produce a minimum of 40 hours per 40 hour work week with less than 3% comebacks
• Diagnose quickly, decisively and accurately
• Have a clean, professional appearance and manner
• Have the desire to further your skills and attend ongoing training
• Provide own tools
• Be ASE certified
• Have a minimum of 3 years technician experience, B-Level or above.
• Possess a valid Drivers Licence and clean DMV driving record
