Chapel Hill Tire Co. is seeking Senior-Level Technicians who take pride in thorough, accurate work and mentoring teammates. You will diagnose complex vehicle issues, use advanced tools, and perform high-quality repairs while communicating clearly with service advisors.

Ownership of your bay and results is expected, with opportunities to mentor apprentices. We value growth, learning, and a meticulous approach, plus comprehensive benefits and paid training.

Qualifications

• Senior-level technician with 3+ years diagnostic experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• ASE certifications a plus (or willingness to earn them).
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and dependable.
• Calm under pressure, coachable, and team-focused.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair complex vehicle issues (engine, electrical, drivability, HVAC, suspension, brakes, etc.).
• Use advanced diagnostic tools and follow proven repair processes.
• Perform high-quality repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and support fellow techs.
• Take ownership of your bay, your work, and your results.
• Mentor apprentices and raise the bar for the shop.

What You'll Do:

• Senior-level tech (A or B level is fine!) with strong diagnostic skills (3+ years preferred)
• Valid driver's license required

Pay: We offer competitive compensation based on your experience, skills, and certifications. Your efficiency and ability to maximize productivity, directly influence your earning potential. Pay is reviewed often to ensure an accurate representation of salary range for this role. $70k-$135k+ (Top Techs Can Earn More, pay incentive for ASE's or we can help you get them!)
