Role Overview: An Automotive Technician diagnoses and repairs customer vehicles, performing routine inspections, mechanical repairs, and verifying work quality. They collaborate with team members and communicate repair needs to ensure timely, accurate service.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Digital and Multi-Point Inspections, documenting findings with photos and notes.
• Diagnose vehicle concerns using scan tools and testing equipment.
• Perform repairs such as brakes, suspension, cooling, and engine work.
• Verify repairs through checks, including torque and road tests.
• Perform State Safety and Emission Inspections if licensed.
• Recommend services, document them clearly, and communicate with team members and customers.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures, maintain a clean workspace.

Qualifications & Skills

• Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience or equivalent training.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and repair documentation systems.
• Ability to follow procedures, safety standards, and torque specifications.
• Valid driver’s license, ability to pass MVR check, and, if required, state inspector licensing.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Qualifications: Vocational training, additional ASE certifications, alignment experience, and high school diploma or equivalent.
