Job summary

All Star Toyota of Baton Rouge is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join their team. The role offers a competitive hourly wage of $40 to $45 and a range of benefits including medical, dental, vision insurance, and paid time off starting from day one.

Technicians will be responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles to dealership standards while communicating effectively with service advisors. Ideal candidates have 3-5+ years of automotive experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of Automotive Technician Experience is required.
• Manufacturer experience is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Salary Range: $40.00 - $45.00 Hourly

Job Shift: Open to Closing

Responsibilities

• Technicians perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with quality and dealership standards.
• Test‑drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications and communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License.
• 3-5+ years Automotive Technician Experience (Required).
• Manufacturer experience preferred.
• Customer focused professional who is self‑motivated, competitive and coachable.
• Must be able to pass pre‑employment testing, including background checks, MVR, drug test, and possess a valid driver's license.
