Job summary

Dutch Miller Kia of Barboursville is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our Fixed Operations team in Barboursville, WV. A range of experience levels is welcome; you do not need to be a Master Technician to apply, but strong diagnostic ability and drive to grow are valued.

Compensation ranges from $22.00 to $32.00 per flat-rate hour, based on experience, certifications, training level, and skill set.

Qualifications

• Previous professional automotive repair experience.
• Dealership experience preferred but not required.
• Kia or other Asian-brand experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• Diagnostic experience is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns.
• Perform maintenance and repair services according to manufacturer standards.
• Complete brake, steering, suspension, cooling, HVAC, and electrical repairs.
• Perform engine and transmission repairs based on experience and certification level.
• Utilize manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technical information.
• Complete thorough vehicle inspections and identify needed maintenance and repairs.
• Document diagnostic findings and repairs accurately.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and management.
• Maintain quality workmanship while meeting productivity expectations.
• Participate in Kia factory training and continued technician development.
• Maintain an organized and professional work environment.

Position Overview

Dutch Miller Kia of Barboursville is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician to join our growing Fixed Operations team.

You do not have to be an A-Level or Master Technician to apply. We are interested in experienced, motivated technicians at different skill levels who want steady work, competitive earning potential, continued training, and an opportunity to grow their career.

Compensation will range from $22.00 to $32.00 per flat-rate hour, based on experience, certifications, training level, diagnostic ability, and overall skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical concerns
