Job summary

Baldy’s 4X4 in Austin, TX is seeking an automotive technician to handle diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades for trucks, Jeeps and 4x4s. You’ll work on powertrain and electrical systems, perform routine maintenance, and ensure high-quality customer service.

The role requires at least 4 years of hands-on experience, preferred ASE certification, and owning your own tools. A safety-focused, team-oriented attitude is essential to fit our busy shop.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of automotive experience.
• ASE certification preferred.
• Strong electrical background, gears and welding are a plus.
• Excellent customer service and communication with clients and advisors.

Rockstar Automotive Technician for Truck, Jeep and 4x4 Specialty Shop

Are you seeking a position where you're BUSY everyday? We are a growing and very busy automotive shop in Austin, TX. We do maintenance, repairs and upgrades to every type of vehicle there is and we're looking for a detail oriented, quality focused technician to join our team.

ASE certified is preferred. Gears, Welding and a Strong Electrical background would be amazing. The right candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience and their own tools. We're also looking for a great fit with an awesome attitude, great character and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive automotive diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including powertrain and electrical systems.
• Utilize hand and power tools to conduct routine maintenance and vehicle alignments.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients and service advisors regarding vehicle issues and repair options.
• Maintain accurate records of services performed and assist in training junior technicians as required.

Compensation

Pay DOE - Flag Hour
401K matching & Paid Vacation after 1 year of service
