Job summary

Auburn Chevrolet GMC is looking for an Automotive Technician in Auburn, NY. This role offers top pay and a path from mid-level to master tech, with a sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

You will diagnose and repair vehicles, perform maintenance, maintain precise records, and participate in ongoing manufacturer training. Candidates must have their own tools, 2+ years of hands-on experience, a valid NY driver’s license, clean driving history, and a NY State Inspection License.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on automotive experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Clean driving history (3 years).
• Current NY State Inspection License.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles based on customer concerns and inspections
• Perform maintenance and safety work with precision and care
• Communicate updates clearly with service advisors
• Maintain accurate records on all repairs and recommendations
• Conduct test drives to verify repairs
• Attend manufacturer-sponsored training to stay sharp
• Handle tools and equipment responsibly
• Follow all safety guidelines and report issues promptly

Earning Potential: $45,000 – $130,000 Annually
