Richmond Street Automotive in Appleton, Wisconsin is seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. We offer competitive hourly pay, weekends off, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement.

We are looking for a dependable B-level technician who enjoys diagnosing and repairing vehicles, takes pride in quality workmanship, and wants to continue developing their skills. This role provides a Monday–Friday schedule with paid training and the chance to earn ASE certifications

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred.
• B-level automotive technician experience or comparable hands-on repair skills.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive mechanical and electrical issues.
• Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and general automotive repairs.
• Troubleshoot vehicle concerns using diagnostic equipment and established repair procedures.
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Identify additional repair needs and communicate findings clearly.
• Follow shop procedures and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians.
• Participate in ongoing training to expand technical knowledge and repair capabilities.

Compensation & Benefits

• $35-$45 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
• Straight hourly compensation, not flat rate

What You’ll Do

• Diagnose and repair a variety of automotive mechanical and electrical issues

What We’re Looking For

• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to completing repairs correctly
• Willingness to learn new technologies, pursue additional certifications, and advance professionally
• Dependable work habits and a positive, team-oriented attitude

Current ASE certifications are not required. We're very interested in finding a capable technician who wants to continue learning, improve their skills, and grow with our company.
