Caravelle Boat Group has an immediate opening for an Automotive Mechanic/Technician. This position involves maintaining a fleet of approximately 10 to 15 transport trucks used to deliver boat and RV inventory along the east coast of the United States to our network of Factory Direct Marine & RV dealerships.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Maintenance of 10-15 trucks, including some gas and diesel engines
2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues
3. Assessing parts needs, obtaining approval, and ordering parts
4. Installing parts
5. Performing preventative maintenance to optimize cost savings

Qualifications:

1. Prior experience as an automotive mechanic/technician
2. Ability to work on both gas and diesel engines
3. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
4. Good communication skills for working with drivers
5. Reliable transportation and a clean driving record
