Job summary

SWJ Technology seeks a Technical Project Lead for a 6–8 week on-site engagement in Fremont, CA to support automotive production equipment installation. You will coordinate onsite activities, lead cross-functional teams, ensure safety, and drive readiness for production ramp-up.

The role demands strong mechanical and electrical installation experience, leadership, and excellent customer-facing communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
• Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating industrial equipment installations.
• Experience in automotive manufacturing or automated production environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical installation of modular production line equipment.
• Coordinate equipment leveling, alignment, assembly, and machine integration.
• Oversee electrical installation activities after mechanical completion.
• Support power-on, startup readiness, and production ramp-up.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams.
• Interface with customer buyoff and EHS teams.
• Monitor progress, schedule, quality, and issue resolution.
• Identify risks and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare daily and weekly installation reports.
