This entry-level role is part of the Auto Tech Development Program, providing hands-on experience and mentorship to aspiring automotive technicians. The program is structured over 6 months, leading candidates towards a full Automotive Technician role with opportunities for ASE certifications.

Ideal candidates are those currently enrolled in or recent graduates from an accredited automotive technology program, allowing them to gain practical skills in a fast-paced environment while working on customer vehicles.

The position offers a salary ranging from $40,000 to $50,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student or recent graduate from an ASE-accredited automotive technology program.
• Completion of brakes and steering/suspension coursework preferred.
• Must obtain State of Michigan Mechanic Trainee Permit.

Responsibilities

• Secure vehicles to lifts and alignment machines properly.
• Assist in diagnosing vehicle issues and repairs.
• Support general automotive service tasks.
