Job summary

Midas Auto Experts in Englishtown, New Jersey, is seeking an Intermediate Level Technician (B Tech) to provide quality automotive services. In this role, you’ll perform a variety of maintenance services and collaborate with peers in a supportive environment.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of automotive basics, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. ASE certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Intermediate level technicians must have prior knowledge of automotive basics.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Knowledge of shop equipment is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform a thorough visual safety and courtesy inspection.
• Mounting, balancing and rotating tires.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance including oil changes and tune-ups.
• Test drive vehicles to confirm that repairs have been made properly.
• Maintain shop cleanliness.
