Amerit Fleet Solutions in Sacramento, CA is seeking an Automotive Technician/Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and maintain light to medium duty fleet vehicles. You will work with a nationwide team, performing preventive maintenance and inspections to keep fleets compliant and reliable.

We offer $30.00-$40.00/hr with weekly pay, full benefits within 30 days, and a potential bonus up to $5,000. Shift is Monday–Friday 2pm–10:30pm, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance and repairs on automotive vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Own and maintain personal tools and toolbox.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Capable of meeting physical demands and passing pre-employment screenings (drug test, DOT if required).

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years’ of hands-on experience performing automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skillsValid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position (detailed below)
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces. This position requires regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment. Technicians may be required to work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms and must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions. Due to the active work environment and movement of large vehicles, the ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace is required.
