Job summary

VSSI Staffing Services, LLC is hiring an Automotive Tear-Down Technician for engines and transmissions in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on disassembling engines and transmissions using air and power tools within a safety‑driven production environment.

You will separate, inspect, and organize components while meeting daily output and quality goals. Starting pay is $16.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday 7:30 AM–4:30 PM schedule.

Qualifications

Position Overview:

VSSI Staffing is hiring mechanically inclined individuals to join a growing automotive parts operation. Automotive Tear-Down Technicians use air and power tools to dismantle engines and transmissions while meeting production, quality, and safety expectations.

This opportunity is ideal for candidates with basic automotive knowledge who enjoy hands‑on mechanical work and want to expand their experience.

Training:

Selected employees will complete several weeks of off‑site training to learn the company’s disassembly processes, production standards, and safety expectations.
