Easterns Automotive Group is seeking a detail-oriented Automotive Tag & Title Clerk in Sterling, VA to ensure smooth tag and title processing for local and out-of-state transactions. The role involves using electronic registration systems, liaising with DMV offices, and maintaining accurate titling records.

Qualifications include at least 1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent experience as Automotive Title Clerk or DMV Clerk.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask.
• Experience with Dealer Track/CVR/DMV is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all tag and title documentation and titling transactions.
• Process titling documents using electronic registration systems and communicate with DMVs.
• Track and post titling operations and monitor schedules.
• Calculate and process customer refunds as needed.
• Assist with miscellaneous tag and title tasks.
• Maintain professional interactions with customers and vendors.
• Conduct inventory control and periodic audits.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations.
• Payoff vehicle trades and track trade titles.
