Job summary

Adient Northwood Facility is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to uphold IATF 16949 compliance and ensure delivery of conforming products. The role emphasizes PPAP submissions, supplier coordination, and control plan maintenance across engineering and production teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in automotive quality, ISO 9001 familiarity, and experience with measurement tools. This on-site position reports to the Quality Manager and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent quality related experience and/or training.
• ASQ CQM/CQE/CQT certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in Quality Assurance in automotive industry.
• Familiar with IATF 16949 & ISO 9001, BOS Standards.
• Statistical Quality Control knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain engineering documentation to ensure IATF 16949 compliance.
• Validate PPAP submissions and coordinate with suppliers for timely implementation of changes.
• Champion and monitor supplier key deliverables per control plan.
