Job summary

You will support early-stage development, balancing customer needs, engineering requirements, and design intent while advancing innovative technology and design at the systems level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of related experience with automotive design principles.
• Strong communication and ability to work across functions.

Responsibilities

• Create, refine, and finalize engineering criteria with design partners.
• Lead development of integrated engineering solutions to resolve packaging issues.
• Use physical and mathematical models to evaluate alternatives and support design decisions.
• Apply DFSS methodologies to manage tradeoffs in cost, mass, timing, and assembly.
• Develop space claims and packaging solutions maximizing space utilization.
