Job summary

Midas 591 is seeking a seasoned Store Manager to lead all automotive and general service operations at our Grand Rapids location, with a focus on safety, efficiency, and profit. You will recruit and coach staff, ensure exceptional customer service, manage inspections and repairs, control inventory, and report daily results.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of store management experience in automotive repair and relevant leadership skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of store or service manager experience in automotive repair or similar retail settings.
• Excellent customer service disposition and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Proficient with POS systems and online tools.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, motivate, evaluate, schedule and coach employees.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and consult with customers.
• Follow up with customers on services requested and estimated completion times.
• Oversee vehicle inspections and generate repair orders with pricing estimates.
• Lead pricing discussions and promote shop service specials.
• Guide team in line with company values and drive performance.
• Oversee service advisors’ and technicians’ activities including inspections and repairs.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and manage losses.
