Job summary

Plaza Tire Service is opening a new Mattoon location and seeks a Store Manager to lead a team, work with customers on tires and maintenance, and drive sales and service excellence.

Experience in auto retail management is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Compensation includes base plus bonus, with strong earning potential. Located in Illinois, eligibility for advancement is highlighted.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience of sales in an auto repair shop management position or equivalent business experience in the automotive industry.
• Previous experience in managing and coaching team members to success through effective communication; business development and strategy implementation knowledge.
• Proven ability to develop and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual plans with clearly defined goals.
• Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales and profit goals.
• Possession of current, valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Maintains store standards and product knowledge to deliver outstanding guest service, conducts callbacks, and ensures timely commitments; handles escalated customer issues.
• Sets expectations and communicates with employees on responsibilities, goals, training and development, and customer service quality.
• Holds management accountable for responsibilities, training and achieving goals by coaching or counseling.
• Analyzes business trends; develops plans to maximize sales and meet targets; assists with inventory control and POS tasks.
