Job summary

Big Brand Tire & Service in Ventura, CA is seeking an Automotive Store Manager to lead a high-volume service team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will recruit, coach, schedule, and performance-manage staff while driving KPIs, sales, and operations.

The role requires 2+ years in automotive store/service management with proven leadership, strong communication, and weekend availability. ASE/discounts and benefit-rich environment offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years store or service management in automotive or high-volume retail with strong P&L ownership.
• Proven sales leadership with targets, pipeline, and closing rates.
• People leadership: hires well, coaches, retains talent.
• Operational KPI fluency: scheduling, inventory, cash controls.
• Customer-first communicator with clear explanations and follow-through.
• Valid driver's license; able to assist with shop flow.
• Open weekend availability to lead busiest hours.

Responsibilities

• Set the game plan, drive KPIs, celebrate wins, course-correct fast; own guest experience
• Drive sales: execute playbooks, price with confidence, ensure clear recommendations
• Run the P&L: payroll discipline, inventory accuracy, shrink control, budget adherence
• Protect the house: OSHA/EHS compliance, cleanliness, vendor coordination
• Operate with excellence: cash/POS controls, reporting, audits, policy adherence

Automotive Store Manager

• Lead & develop: recruit, hire, schedule, coach, and performance-manage a winning team
• Win the day: set the game plan, drive KPIs, celebrate wins, course-correct fast Own the guest experience: model five-star service; jump in on estimates, approvals, and tough saves
• Drive sales: execute playbooks, price with confidence, ensure clear recommendations & follow-through
• Run the P&L: payroll discipline, inventory accuracy, shrink control, budget adherence
• Protect the house: OSHA/EHS compliance, cleanliness, equipment/vendor coordination
• Operate with excellence: cash/POS controls, reporting, audits, and policy adherence

What Makes You a Great Fit

• Valid driver’s license; able to assist with shop flow (periodic lifting up to 70 lbs)
• Open availability, including weekends, to lead the store through our busiest guest-facing hours
