Job summary

Big Brand Tire & Service in Pleasanton is seeking an Automotive Store Manager to lead a high‑volume shop, coach a results‑driven team, and own the guest experience from estimates to checkout.

Bring 2+ years in automotive or high‑volume service management, a proven sales mindset, and the ability to hire, train, and retain talent while maintaining safety and strong KPIs. This role offers competitive pay with overtime, benefits, and career growth into store leadership.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of store or service management in automotive or high-volume retail.
• Proven sales leadership: hits targets, improves RO & close rates.
• People leadership: hires, coaches, retains talent.
• Operational focus: KPIs, scheduling, inventory, cash controls.
• Customer-focused communicator with clear explanations and follow-through.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to assist with shop flow (lift up to 70 lbs).
• Open availability, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead & develop: recruit, hire, schedule, coach, and performance-manage a team.
• Own the guest experience: five-star service; assist with estimates and approvals.
• Drive sales: execute playbooks, price confidently, provide clear recommendations.
• Run the P&L: payroll discipline, inventory accuracy, shrink control, budget adherence.
• Protect the house: OSHA/EHS compliance, cleanliness, vendor coordination.
• Operate with excellence: cash/POS controls, reporting, audits, policy adherence.

Automotive Store Manager:

• Open availability, including weekends, to lead the store through our busiest guest-facing hours

Nice-to-have: ASEs, multi-brand experience, turnaround wins, Spanish/English bilingual.
