Job summary

Worksource Heart of Georgia in Cochran, GA is seeking an experienced General Manager to inspire the team, grow Professional Customer relationships, and drive profitable operations in a service-and-sales environment.

This exempt role requires 50-55 hours weekly, including nights and weekends, with rotating shifts. You will oversee hiring, coaching, inventory, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree in business or related area preferred.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• 2–3 years of leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Proven profitability experience and strong business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Achieve overall store sales goals and service objectives.
• Manage and grow Professional Customer relationships and sales; coach team to execute plans.
• Handle hiring, development, performance management, coaching, and engagement of store team members.
• Ensure inventory and operational standards are met.
• Coach staff to meet customer expectations (DIY and Professional).
• Assume manager-on-duty responsibilities; coordinate tasks, safety, and open/close duties.
• Lead change management and foster a diverse, respectful environment.
• Provide DIY service such as battery installation and wiper installs; assist district/region as needed.
