Job summary

GeorgiaTEK Systems Inc. seeks an experienced Software Release Engineer – Automotive to support product development, ensure goals are met, and enable on-time delivery with thorough documentation.

Reporting to the Software Release Manager, you will coordinate with Software Release Teams, EE Validation, Program Management, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate has SDLC, software integration/testing experience, and familiarity with regulatory compliance and homologation.

Qualifications

• Experience as Software Developer, Test Engineer, Software Integration Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
• Solid understanding of SDLC activities.
• Knowledge of software release management, development processes, methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with software integration, testing coordination, and validation activities.
• Good understanding of automotive electronics, including hardware and software.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Review incoming software releases and documentation; resolve issues with Component Teams.
• Coordinate software testing schedules with EE Validation and PM teams.
• Track testing progress and communicate status updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor software release milestones and report project progress, risks, and completion status.
• Prepare charts, graphs, progress trackers, and reports for upper management.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support release milestones and on-time delivery.
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes, documentation, homologation, and regulatory compliance.
