Aptiv in Carmel, IN is seeking a Software Architect to lead the architecture for Autonomous/ADAS/AD/HAD/Active Safety projects at our Indiana Technical Center. Relocation within the USA may be offered.

You will drive AUTOSAR OS bring-up, MCAL, and CAN/Ethernet integration while mentoring engineers in an Agile environment. Ideal candidates have 14+ years in embedded or real-time software for automotive, strong C/C++ skills, and ISO 26262 safety experience to help build high-assurance systems and

Qualifications

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering.
• 14+ years embedded or real-time software development, automotive domain preferred.
• Strong experience in AUTOSAR BSW/MCAL OS bring-up and CAN/Ethernet stacks.
• Experience with ISO 26262 safety standards and embedded C/C++.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SW architecture for radar-related autonomous/ADAS projects.
• Drive AUTOSAR OS bring-up, configuration, and communications stack integration.
• Optimize CPU/memory and interface design while mentoring developers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally in an Agile development environment.
