Job Overview

The Shop Foreman / Lead Technician is responsible for maintaining workflow and work distribution among technicians. This role works closely with the Service Manager to oversee the quality of work on our guests' vehicles and shop efficiency.

We are looking for technicians/mechanics who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we seek should be proactive in solving tough problems and passionate about doing right by our guests.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate work distribution with the service department

• Mentor and train new technicians
• Assist technicians with diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Conduct performance reviews and set career goals
• Organize team-building activities
• Ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction
• Manage shop supplies and equipment
• Monitor shop efficiency and technician hours
• Manage scan tool subscriptions
• Promote safety, cleanliness, and organization
• Oversee technician schedules and enforce safety protocols

Qualifications

• 7+ years of automotive technician experience
• Excellent diagnostic skills

• ASE A1-A8 Certifications required; Master L1 preferred
