FAB-TEX SERVICES CORP in New York is seeking an Automotive Service Writer/Assistant for a full-time role in our truck service department. You will assist with customer interactions, estimates, invoicing, repairs, and scheduling while ensuring timely progress on each truck.

The position requires automotive experience (cars & trucks), a NYS driver’s license, and willingness to learn. We offer training and a consistent daytime schedule Mon–Fri 8:00–4:30, with potential for part-time

Qualifications

• Automotive experience required (cars & trucks).
• Clean NYS driver’s license preferred.
• WILL TRAIN available.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers to address questions and concerns.
• Assist estimates, on-site estimates, invoicing and repair orders.
• Schedule appointments, track progress, calculate charges and collect payment.
• Coordinate with managers on parts availability for jobs.
• Ensure each truck is worked on in a timely manner.
• Vehicle tracking - log in information.
• Use iPad for job-related tasks.
• Data entry for service records.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

TRUCK FITTER DEALER: Repairs, and service company seeking a reliable and responsible individual to help assist our Service Department.

Job Description but not limited to:

• Customer Service - Interact with Customers, listen to their questions and concerns and provide timely response
• Help assist with estimates, on-site estimate, Invoicing, and repair orders.
• Schedule appointments, monitor service progress, calculate charges, and process payment.
• Interact with managers to ensure proper parts are in stock needed for jobs.
• Interact with managers to ensure each truck is being worked on in a timely fashion.
• Vehicle Tracking - log in info.
• IPad usage.
• Data Entry.
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.

Experience:

Automotive experience a MUST (Cars & Trucks)

A clean NYS driver’s license (preferred)

Hours:

Full - Time - Winter Hours:

Monday- Friday 8am- 4:30pm

Part-Time flexible hours available

SALARY - BASED ON EXPERIENCE
