Johnson Lexus of Durham is hiring Full-Time Service Valets to support our Service Department. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training and a chance to gain experience in the automotive industry. You will greet guests, assist with vehicle movements, and help keep the service drive organized and safe.

We require a dependable, customer-focused attitude and a valid driver’s license. Saturday availability is required, with multiple shifts based on department needs and interview discussions.

Johnson Lexus of Durham is looking for dependable, energetic, and customer-focused Full-Time Service Valets to join our Service team.

What You'll Do

As a Service Valet, you'll help support both our guests and the day-to-day flow of the Service Department.

Responsibilities include:

• Greet service guests promptly and professionally when they arrive.
• Assist with vehicle drop-off and pickup.
• Direct guests to the appropriate Service Advisor or waiting area.
• Safely park, retrieve, and stage guest and dealership vehicles.
• Help manage vehicle flow throughout the service drive and designated parking areas.
• Assist Service Advisors and other team members with locating and retrieving vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service drive and customer arrival area.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of guest waiting areas and loaner vehicles as needed.
• Transport guests to and from approved destinations when providing shuttle service.
• Treat every guest vehicle with care and respect.
• Follow dealership procedures for vehicle movement, keys, parking, and safety.
• Communicate vehicle, facility, or safety concerns to management promptly.
• Assist the Service Department with additional operational needs as assigned.

What We're Looking For

No automotive experience is required. We're looking for someone who is ready to work, willing to learn, and understands that being dependable matters.

• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• The ability to stay organized and productive in a busy environment.
• Good judgment and careful attention when operating guest vehicles.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• A valid driver's license and driving record acceptable under Company standards.
• The ability to safely operate a variety of vehicles.
• The ability to frequently enter and exit vehicles and remain active throughout the workday.
• The ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Previous valet, hospitality, customer-service, or dealership experience is a plus, butthis is an entry-level position and we're happy to train the right person.

Schedule & Availability

This is aFull-Time position with multiple available shifts and schedules based on Service Department needs.

Saturday availability is required.

Candidates should have scheduling flexibility within the dealership's operating hours. Specific shift and schedule details will be discussed during the interview process.
