Job summary

Sun Devil Auto is hiring a General Service Technician in Mesa, AZ to perform oil changes, tire services and basic repairs under supervision. You will assist with inspections, transport customers, and keep the shop clean while following safety rules.

Eligible for the Tool and Boot Program; competitive bi-weekly pay, tuition reimbursement, paid vacation/sick time, holidays, benefits, and 401(k) with company match. Growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess current, valid driver’s license.
• Possess current or expired State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector License within 30 days of hire date.
• Understand basic automotive systems under the hood.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services under supervision.
• Notes vehicle condition and documents any obvious repairs or safety concerns.
• Maintains shop cleanliness in service area, showroom, and surrounding spaces.
• Safely transports customers to/from locations using company vehicle.
• Picks up parts and tires from vendors or office using company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle safely and obeys traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections following guidelines.
• Follows all safety procedures and company policies.
