Job summary

Sun Devil Auto is seeking a General Service Technician in the Phoenix area. The role covers oil changes, tire services, and basic repairs under direction from the Shop Manager, while maintaining a clean shop and safe operations. You will assist with parts pickup and customer transport using the company vehicle.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, 18+ years old, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain a State Inspector License within 30 days. Monday–Saturday work is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Possess current, valid driver’s license.
• Possess current or expired State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector License within 30 days of hire date.
• Possesses a general understanding of under the hood, mechanical and under carriage assemblies.
• Ability to work Monday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services at the direction of the Shop Manager or Store Manager.
• Observes vehicle condition and notes obvious repairs or safety concerns to managers using inspection/repair orders.
• Maintains shop cleanliness including service area, tire racks, showroom and exterior.
• Safely transports customers to/from residence or business using company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires, etc. using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle safely and obeys traffic laws.
• Performs State Safety and Emission Inspections per guidelines.
• Follows safety procedures and reports concerns to managers.
