Job summary

Bruce's Tire & Auto Service is seeking a General Service Technician to perform non-technical service repairs such as oil changes, tire services, alignments, and more. You will work alongside ASE Certified Automotive Technicians and receive training to progress toward ASE Automotive Technician certification.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to work 5 days per week (including weekends).
• Previous automotive experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transports customers to and from their residence or business using the company vehicle.
• Picks up parts, supplies, tires from vendors using the company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle safely and courteously, obeying traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections on vehicles following guidelines.
• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed.
• Notes obvious repairs or safety concerns and documents condition.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop, service area, tires, showroom and surroundings.

Skills

Valid driver's license

18+ years old

5 days per week

Automotive experience preferred
