Job summary

Precision Tune Auto Care in Lafayette, LA is seeking a General Automotive Service Technician to help keep customers' vehicles safe by performing preventive maintenance and light repairs. You will work in a team, handle oil changes, inspections, and basic repairs while earning hourly pay plus production bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years automotive experience.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must have your own tools; diagnostic equipment provided.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to complete a pre-employment background check.
• Willingness to learn and build a career in automotive repair.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine maintenance service.
• Perform vehicle inspections and recommend maintenance needs.
• Perform repairs on vehicles.
• Replace brakes and perform basic brake services.
• Check and top off vehicle fluids.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Assist experienced technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• Communicate professionally with teammates and service advisors.
• Follow all company safety and environmental procedures.
