Job summary

Werner Hyundai in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to diagnose problems, repair vehicles, and deliver excellent service. This full-time role reports to the Service Manager and requires a passion for automotive work in a non-remote, dealership setting.

Qualifications

• Automotive Technician experience required (ASE certifications a plus).
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license with clean background record.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate diagnostics on cars and light trucks.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including oil changes, brake service, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
• Repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and other major components.
• Use diagnostic equipment and follow repair procedures.
• Keep detailed records of work performed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
