Job summary

Napleton Hyundai of Hazelwood is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles. The role emphasizes building customer loyalty through trust and effective communication while adhering to dealer and factory standards.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience is required or expected.
• ASE certification desirable or pursuing ASE certifications.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug screen per local laws.
• Age 18+ to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and maintenance per repair order, following dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and non-mechanical staff.
• Stay updated with factory bulletins and participate in training classes.
• Keep management informed of repair problems as they arise.
• Maintain an organized work area and perform other duties as assigned.
