Chapel Hill Tire is hiring a General Service Automotive Technician to diagnose and repair vehicles, perform routine maintenance, and ensure customer satisfaction across our Triangle locations. You will test drive, inspect components, and replace parts with quality replacements to meet warranty expectations.

Applicants should have mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a commitment to safe work practices.

Qualifications

• Must meet or exceed automotive repair standards and demonstrate ability to learn and grow.
• Prefer ASE and related certifications as a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Test drives every vehicle before service to verify customer concerns.
• Inspects engine and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues.
• Performs routine maintenance such as oil changes and tune-ups.
• Replaces parts with high-quality components to meet warranty expectations.
• Adheres to company procedures and safety standards.
