Job summary

Napleton's Elmhurst Acura/KIA in Elmhurst, IL is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform repairs and maintenance to dealer and factory standards. You will diagnose issues, communicate with parts and service teams, and help build customer trust through quality work.

Qualifications

Automotive Service Technician experience required.
ASE certification is desirable.
Excellent customer service and strong communication required.
Valid driver's license; must pass background check.
Must be 18+ years old to comply with driving policy.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle repair and maintenance as outlined on repair order in line with dealer and factory standards to drive customer loyalty.
Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to manage production and customer communication.
Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair.
Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical staff and customers.
Stay updated with factory bulletins and participate in training.
Inform store management of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
Keep an organized work area.
