Job summary

Napleton's Arlington Heights CDJR is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to perform maintenance and repairs in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

You will diagnose issues, explain repairs to customers, and participate in ongoing manufacturer training. The role offers competitive hourly wages, benefits, and opportunities for career advancement within a family-owned group with a long-standing presence in the region.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair/maintenance as outlined on repair order to dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Keep abreast of factory bulletins and participate in training classes as appropriate.
• Maintain an organized work area and keep management informed of repair issues as they occur.
