Job summary

The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician for Napleton Auto Park of Urbana. You will perform vehicle repairs and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, building trust with customers through accurate diagnostics and clear explanations.

Qualifications

• Automotive Service Technician experience required.
• ASE certification desirable.
• Excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance as outlined on repair order per dealer and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer communication.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to customers and colleagues.
• Stay updated on factory bulletins and training opportunities.
• Keep management informed of repair issues as they occur.
• Maintain an organized work area and assist with other duties as assigned.
