Mavis Tires & Brakes in Lake Worth, TX is seeking a full-time General Service Technician to join our automotive service team. You will work on tire mounting, balancing, oil changes, fluid checks, and basic inspections, gaining hands-on skills and safety training.

Qualifications

• Be able to perform tire mounting/balancing and routine maintenance tasks.
• Willingness to learn proper safety procedures and vehicle inspection basics.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work in a busy shop.
• Good communication and ability to follow instructions.
• No advanced automotive degree required; paid training provided.

Responsibilities

• Dismounting, mounting, rotating, and balancing tires
• Performing flat tire repairs
• Completing oil and filter changes
• Checking and topping off vehicle fluids
• Performing basic vehicle maintenance and inspections
• Identifying visible tire and maintenance concerns
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Following established safety and service procedures
• Helping ensure quality service and timely completion of customer vehicles
