Job summary

Doug Smith KIA in Lindon, Utah is seeking motivated service technicians to join a growing team. This position offers a flat-rate pay plan, comprehensive benefits, and opportunities for factory training in a drug-free work environment.

The role emphasizes accurate documentation, diagnostic testing, and warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications. Ideal candidates will diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle systems, maintain a clean, safe workspace, and communicate with the Service Advisor

Qualifications

• Motivated and have a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Experience diagnosing & repairing vehicles.
• Maintain and keep a clean and efficient work area.
• Safety & Emissions certifications preferred.
• Good driving record.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Document all work performed clearly and accurately
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
