Job summary

Sun Auto Tire & Service is seeking a General Service Technician in Minnesota to perform non-technical automotive service tasks such as oil changes and tire services while assisting with parts transport and shop upkeep.

The role involves driving customers, maintaining clean work areas, and documenting vehicle conditions. Excellent candidates will have a valid driver's license and be able to work five days per week, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Previous automotive experience preferred, but we will consider energetic and hard-working individuals.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced workspace and maintain a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balancing and tire rotations.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services.
• Documents vehicle condition using the Multi-point Inspection or Repair Order.
• Maintains shop cleanliness and organizes service areas and stock.
• Drives vehicles safely, transports customers and parts as needed.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections where applicable.
• Adheres to safety procedures and company policies.
