Job summary

Hogan & Sons Tire and Auto is hiring a General Service Technician to perform tire mounting/dismounting, oil changes, wheel balance, and basic maintenance under supervision. You will assist with parts pickup, drive customers when needed, and document vehicle conditions using our inspection orders.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid driver’s license. Expect a fast-paced shop with growth potential and strong benefits.

Qualifications

• General understanding of under the hood and vehicle systems.
• Ability to operate basic shop equipment and read basic instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs tire mounting/dismounting, wheel balance and tire rotation.
• Performs oil changes and other basic services as directed by management.
• Notes obvious repairs or safety concerns using inspection/repair orders.
• Maintains cleanliness of the shop and service area.
• Safely transports customers and parts as needed.
• Picks up parts and supplies using company vehicle.
• Operates company vehicle safely and obeys traffic laws.
• Conducts State Safety and Emission Inspections ethically.
• Follows all safety procedures and reports concerns.
