Job Title: Automotive Service Technician - North Park Mazda

Skilled technicians are in high demand. To retain good service techs, you need to treat them right. Here, you’ll work alongside some of the best in the business. Your responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing client and dealership vehicles while maintaining positive relationships with clients, especially those returning with unsatisfactory work. We operate an honest shop and seek honest, hard-working technicians. Only those who value integrity and ethics need apply.

Responsibilities

• Examine and diagnose vehicles
• Discuss repairs with shop foreman or service advisor
• Communicate additional service requests to the service advisor
• Create video updates for customer review
• Plan work procedures in cooperation with the shop foreman
• Provide labor time estimates to the service advisor
• Monitor repair times and update the service advisor regularly
• Maintain strict adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
• Complete documentation for client repairs
• Assist in mentoring technician trainees
• Attend company and factory training sessions
• Stay current with factory technical bulletins
• Follow federal, state, and local regulations (such as hazardous waste disposal)

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 1 year of work experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations

Valid Operator Driver License
