Charlie's Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram in Ohio seeks a Service Technician to perform maintenance and repairs per factory specifications in a clean, safe, state-of-the-art shop. The role offers a competitive $60 per hour wage including warranty work and a schedule that can adapt to training levels.

Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle systems, test-driving vehicles, and communicating with service advisors.

Qualifications

• ASE Certification is a plus.
• Experience with all makes and models is a plus.
• Strong automotive background is required.
• Strong teamwork skills are essential.
• Must be willing to submit to a drug screen & background check.
• Must have clean & valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership.
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and service equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C.
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about additional service needs and provide time estimates.
• Explain technical repairs to service advisors and customers in non-technical terms.
• Continuously learn new technical information in training sessions to stay current.
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.

We are paying $60 per flat rate hour including ALL WARRANTY REPAIRS!!! The Service Technician performs work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with factory and dealership specifications. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers
• Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology.
