Job summary
Tire Discounters is seeking a Service Technician in Columbus, OH to perform tire installation, maintenance, alignments, brakes, diagnostics, and routine services. You will contribute to daily operations by delivering quality work and exceptional customer service.
Earn a pay mix of hourly wages plus commission, with a clear career path from Service Technician to Service Manager and General Manager. We offer comprehensive benefits and a strong team culture built over five decades.
Qualifications
- 2+ years automotive repair experience (ASE certifications preferred but not required).
- Must have own tools (tool purchase program available).
- Ability to operate automotive vehicle lifts, shop tools and equipment (diagnostic scanner experience a plus).
- Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and stand for long periods.
- Valid driver's license and Saturdays availability.
- Authorized to work in the USA (18+).
Responsibilities
- Provides accurate and timely quality vehicle inspection, maintenance and repairs, ensuring customer expectations are met or exceeded.
- Test drives vehicles before and after repairs to ensure functionality and safety.
- Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
- Foster a collaborative team environment and assist as needed.
