Job summary

Tire Discounters, Inc. is seeking a Service Technician to perform tire installation, steering and suspension work, alignments, brakes, engine diagnostics, and routine maintenance at our Kentucky stores. You’ll play a key role in daily operations and safety.

Our pay plan combines a weekly hourly rate with labor commissions and overtime, plus comprehensive benefits. This position supports growth from technician to service manager, with defined career paths and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of automotive repair experience; ASE certs preferred but not required.
• Must own tools and be able to operate lifts and diagnostic scanners.
• Strong customer service, organization and communication skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 75 lbs; valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate vehicle inspections, maintenance and repairs to meet/exceed expectations.
• Test drive vehicles before/after repairs to ensure safety and function.
• Maintain an organized, clean and safe work area.
• Foster a collaborative team environment and assist as needed.
