Job summary

Courtesy Automotive Group in Tucson, AZ is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and perform maintenance on customer and dealership vehicles efficiently and safely, adhering to manufacturer and dealership standards.

You will use diagnostic equipment, complete repair orders, communicate findings to Service Advisors, and participate in ongoing training to stay current with automotive technology.

Qualifications

• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• ASE certifications preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and shop equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on automotive systems.
• Use diagnostic equipment and manufacturer software to identify vehicle concerns and determine appropriate repairs.
• Complete repair orders accurately and document all work performed.
• Communicate findings, recommended repairs, and repair status with Service Advisors and management.
• Perform warranty and recall repairs according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Conduct quality control inspections and road tests as needed.
• Maintain productivity, efficiency, and customer satisfaction standards.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly handle and dispose of hazardous materials in accordance with dealership and regulatory requirements.
• Attend manufacturer training and stay current on automotive technology and repair procedures.
