Job summary

INDTECHPAT is seeking an Automotive Service Technician to diagnose and repair customer vehicles, with emphasis on using multi-point inspections and maintaining high CSI scores. The role requires prior technician experience, ASE/manufacturer certifications are preferred, and a valid driver's license is essential.

We offer competitive compensation from $60,000 to $150,000+ per year, with weekly pay, paid holidays, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications heavily preferred.
• Manufacturer certifications heavily preferred.
• Previous automotive technician experience required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background & drug test).
• Must be at least eighteen years of age.

Responsibilities

• Make accurate use of the multi-point inspection form on each vehicle.
• Document all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
• Communicate with the service advisor when additional work is needed or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Maintain technician proficiency as specified by Asbury standards.
• Conduct road tests to determine work needed and confirm work completed when necessary.
• Perform all levels of diagnosis and repair on vehicles.
• Perform all levels of preventive/routine maintenance services.
• Utilize product and technical training as assigned by the manufacturer and management.
• Participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs to expand knowledge.
• Maintain CSI scores as per district/regional goals.
• Complete warranty repair orders and file warranty claims.
• Report safety concerns to management.
• Ensure vehicles are returned clean to customers.
• Complete required training for compliance with regulations (OSHA etc.).
